Articles 19–22 குடிமக்களுக்கு மிக முக்கியமான 4 பகுதிகளில் freedom கொடுக்குது:
Democracyயின் உண்மையான சுவை –
"I can speak, I can move, I can choose my path – but without harming others".
அதனால்தான் Constitution "reasonable restrictions"னு ஒரு balance mechanism-ஐ சேர்க்கிறது.
கருத்து சொல்ல, எழுத, print பண்ண, peaceful-ஆ express பண்ண உரிமை.
அரசியல் / சமூக காரணத்துக்காக peaceful-ஆ ஒன்று கூட உரிமை.
கூட்டணி, union, party, organisation-ல் சேர / உருவாக்க உரிமை.
இந்தியாவின் எந்த பகுதியிலும் freely நகர உரிமை.
எந்த state-ல வேண்டுமானாலும் permanent-ஆ settle ஆக உரிமை.
தன்னால் முடிந்த, சட்டப்படி ஏற்ற profession / occupation தேர்ந்தெடுக்க உரிமை.
இந்த freedom எல்லாம் absolute இல்ல.

அதனால்தான் Article 19-ல் சுத்தமா எழுதிருக்கும்:
இந்த "reasonableness"யை test பண்ணுதுக்கு Supreme Court தான் final referee.
